Finding Comfortable Clothes For A Cycling Holiday

If you’re planning on heading out on a cycling holiday with your friends this summer it’s a good idea to make sure you pack some non-cycling clothing along for the ride, as though your specialised cycling clothes are perfect for the parts of the trip when you’re actually on your bike, come the evenings you’re going to want to change into something a bit more comfortable.

Though we all have our own opinions with regard to which brand of cycling clothing is our favourite, in most cases we can agree that it’s not ideal to be worn in a social setting, even among other cyclists, as it really doesn’t suit that purpose at all well. With that said, Huffer clothing is a great clothing alternative as everything down from their t-shirts to their jeans are made of comfortable fabrics that feel great on the skin after a long day cycling, plus their designs, in general, look great.

Where Fashion’s Important

It’s fair to say that in the majority of cases, cycling clothing isn’t particularly fashionable. There are some great brands, sure, and most of them do a good job of making the clothes they sell look better than their competitors, but they’re certainly not something you would opt to wear out among friends at a bar, for example, if you could help it. The popularity of Huffer in NZ has started to wear off to other countries in recent years, among both cyclists and regular folks. Everybody appreciates a good design paired with comfortable fabrics, which is why this growth in popularity is no shock to people who have been observing the process of this company for some time now.

Much of this points back to the point that on your cycling holiday with your friends you’re going to need something else to change into when you’re away from your bike. Whether you choose this particular New Zealand brand or another, consider the following when choosing clothing that works for you:

Does it look cool? It may sound like a stupid question, but when you were buying your bike I’m sure its coolness played a part in you purchasing it – the same should be true of your off-bike clothing. If you haven’t already, look into the styles Huffer clothing offer. If they’re not your thing you can always search online for styles that you personally deem to be cool.

Are they compact? Depending on what fabrics they’re made of, certain t-shirts and other items of clothing can be wrapped up incredibly tightly to make carrying them on your bicycle much easier, reducing both the weight of your pack, and its dimensions.
